Toronto, ON — March 31, 2026 — Vaultie, a Canadian leader in digital trust, is setting a new standard for secure identity in Canada as the first organization to achieve a Level of Assurance 3 (LoA3)–certified Digital Wallet under DIACC’s Pan-Canadian Trust Framework. This is in addition to Vaultie’s LoA2-certified Verified Person designation, combining high-assurance verification with a seamless user experience. With this accreditation, Vaultie can verify individuals and credentials to the standards required by government institutions and highly regulated sectors, including law societies and the financial services industry.

LoA3 represents the highest threshold typically required for government services and other high-risk digital transactions, where strong identity verification and wallet standards using authoritative sources such as passports, birth certificates, and other official documentation or sources of truth are required.

The Pan-Canadian Trust Framework, developed by DIACC, provides a nationally recognized set of standards, policies, and certification processes designed to enable secure, interoperable digital identity services across public and private sectors.

By meeting the framework’s most rigorous assurance level, Vaultie can now support organizations that require government-grade identity verification and enable individuals to store and manage verified credentials securely.

The announcement coincides with the DIACC Winter Plenary in Vancouver, beginning today, where leaders from across government, industry, and the digital identity ecosystem will convene to advance Canada’s national digital trust infrastructure.

This capability will help advance Canada’s evolving digital trust ecosystem by allowing credentials, such as government documents or professional credentials, to be securely verified, stored, and shared only when and how individuals choose.
