About Us
‍
‍
At Vaultie, we're at the forefront of digital trust. We help law firms, banks, and governments build
trust with their clients by linking their real-world attributes to digital credentials and integrating
them into verifiable documents. We work with biometrics, ID verification, and encryption to help
customers create documents and credentials that people everywhere can trust. Our documents
can be verified anywhere in the world by anyone our clients choose, while keeping privacy
standards high. We can verify more than 14,000 types of ID from more than 195 countries.
We're a small team that's growing, and we work closely together.

‍The Opportunity
‍
‍
Vaultie is moving beyond its roots in the legal sector and into banks, government, and other
regulated industries. That shift changes what our marketing needs to do. We need a clear story
for each audience, steady pipeline support for a new enterprise sales motion, and a team that
knows what's happening across the company as we grow.

We're looking for a Manager, Marketing & Communications to lead that work. Most of your time
will go to marketing: our brand and messaging, content, campaigns, events, and the numbers
behind them. You'll partner closely with our Head of Enterprise Go-to-Market and Account
Executives so marketing and sales pull in the same direction. You'll also own internal
communications, so that everyone at Vaultie hears about big news, wins, and changes clearly
and at the same time.

This is a hands-on role. You'll write, plan, and ship work yourself, and manage our agency and
outside partners.

‍
‍Key Responsibilities

Brand and messaging
‍
- You'll sharpen how we describe Vaultie for each audience we sell to: law firms, banks
and financial institutions, and government.

- You'll keep our website, sales decks, case studies, and one-pagers current and
consistent, and keep our glossary of key terms up to date.

- You'll turn complex topics like identity verification, verifiable credentials, and encryption
into plain language our buyers can act on.
‍
‍
‍Campaigns, content, and events
- You'll plan and run our marketing calendar across email, LinkedIn, the website, and
webinars.

- You'll write and edit content yourself, including newsletters, blog posts, customer stories,
and thought leadership for our leadership team.

- You'll plan our presence at conferences and industry events, from picking which ones
are worth the budget to the booth, materials, and follow-up.
‍
‍
‍Pipeline and performance
‍
- You'll work with the Head of Enterprise Go-to-Market and team on campaigns that bring
in qualified leads, and on materials that help close deals.

- You'll run marketing in HubSpot, and track what's working across campaigns, web traffic,
and lead conversion.

- You'll own the marketing budget and report results to leadership each month.

Internal communications
‍
- You'll plan and write internal updates, including company announcements, all-hands
content, and news about wins, launches, and new people.

- You'll work with leadership to share important changes with the team clearly, in the right
order, and before the news reaches the outside world.

Partners and team
‍
- You'll manage our agency and freelance partners, including briefs, timelines, and quality.

‍
‍
‍What We're Looking For

Must-haves
- You've run B2B marketing for a technology or software company, and you've owned a
marketing calendar and budget directly.
‍
- You can point to campaigns that brought in pipeline, and explain how you measured
what worked and what you changed afterward.
‍
- You write clearly and quickly, and you can make a technical product make sense to a
non-technical buyer.
‍
- You've managed agencies or freelancers and gotten strong work out of them on a tight
budget.
‍
- You're comfortable in HubSpot (or a similar marketing automation tool) and with web
analytics.
‍
- You've written internal communications, or worked closely with leaders on how to share
news with a team.

‍
‍Nice-to-haves
- Experience marketing to legal, financial services, government, or other regulated
industries.
‍
- Background in identity verification, fintech, legal tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS.
‍
- Experience planning conference and event programs.
‍
- Experience managing or mentoring another marketer.
‍
- Basic design skills in Canva, Figma, or Adobe tools.
‍
- Bilingual in English and French

‍
‍Personal Attributes
- You're curious about how things work, and you enjoy learning a technical product well
enough to explain it simply.
‍
- You're organized and dependable. Launches go out on time and nothing slips through
the cracks.
‍
- You collaborate easily with sales, product, and leadership, and you're comfortable giving
and getting honest feedback.
‍
- You use data to decide what to do next, and you're happy to stop doing something that
isn't working.
‍
- You're discreet with sensitive news and careful about how and when it's shared.
‍
- You’re a self-starter, and know how to take the lead when it’s the right time

‍Why You'll Love Working Here
‍
‍
- You'll shape how Vaultie tells its story as it grows into banks, government, and other new
markets.
‍
- You'll work closely with the CEO and leadership team, and your work will be visible
across the company.
‍
- You'll have real ownership over the marketing plan and budget, with room to grow as the
team does.
‍
- Great Employee Benefits and equity compensation.
‍
- You'll work with a small, collaborative team in downtown Toronto.

‍
‍How to Apply
‍
‍
If you love turning complicated ideas into clear stories, and you want to build the marketing
function at a growing company working on digital trust, we'd love to hear from you. Send us your
resume, a short note on why this role interests you, and a link to two or three pieces of work
you're proud of.
‍
If you don't check every box, please apply anyway. What matters most is how you think, how
you write, and the results you've driven.
